It is no secret that I like a takeaway from time to time. So when I find a good one, it’s automatically on my rollerdex of places I need to grab food from. It also means that I have zero qualms writing a whole blog post about it!
So where does K-Burger come in? This burger place has been in Melton for about 18 months (give or take) and specialise in… cookies. I joke, they are known for their burgers, providing some flavourful twists on your traditional burger options. Cheeto flavouring elevates chicken, Biscoff (yes really) plays nicely with beef burgers and pineapple does belong on a burger.

The independent venue also has the accolade of being the only (assume the GFC team don’t add anything else at the time of this post) takeaway in Melton to be recommended by the Great Food Club. A website/guide based on Melton that shouts out the best food in the East Midlands.
For those of you who, gasp, don’t like burgers, don’t fret. K-Burger also offer chickens and a varied veggie menu including their signature tots. For those of you who eat meat, please direct yourselves to their Cheeto Bites because I am telling you, they are basically the edible equivalent of seeing holy enlightenment. Yeah, they happen to be my favourite thing to order here, alongside the Cheeto burger.
Of course, it’s not a Meltonian Monday without me discussing whether the venue of the week are members of the egohermit club. Spoiler warning, they are not. 😂 K-Burger likes to give back to the community with monthly shout outs to brilliant people in the area. In addition, they have previously worked with Black Dragon to released a special burger meaning two great places benefit. We stan Burton Road collaboration in this house.
With this is mind, K-Burger needs to be on your radar if it isn’t already. Their menu is creative, yet offers a safety net for less adventurous pallets. The folks behind it are passionate about both food and supporting the area. Oh and their signature sauces are bloody incredible! Make sure to try their BBQ sauces, they’re my personal favourites.

In addition, I pop a poll on the My Melton Facebook page allowing you guys to choose what category is next. The categories you can vote on will be:
– A bar/pub
– A shop
– A cafe
– An entertainment venue
Most votes by Friday will be the winning category and I have some ideas for all 4 categories.
Until next time folks.
